VinFast has appointed Anurag Saxena as Deputy CEO for its India operations. Saxena joined the Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer in March 2026, strengthening the company’s leadership team as it prepares to expand its presence in the Indian market.
The update was shared by Saxena through a post on LinkedIn, where he confirmed his new role at VinFast Auto India Pvt. Ltd.
In the post, he stated that he looks forward to contributing to the company’s work in areas such as operations and market development in India.
“I’m delighted to step into the role of Deputy CEO at VinFast Auto India Pvt. Ltd. India represents a dynamic and evolving automotive landscape, and I look forward to contributing to innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth,” Saxena said.
VinFast has been outlining plans to expand its footprint in India as part of its broader global strategy in the electric mobility space.
Previous Role at Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India
Before joining VinFast, Saxena worked with Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. for nearly 23 years. His most recent role at the company was Operating Officer, a position he held from April 2024 to February 2026. During his tenure at Honda, he worked across several functions related to business operations and dealer network development.
Educational Background
Saxena holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing and Systems from Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur. He completed the program between 1999 and 2001. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from Amravati University, which he completed between 1994 and 1998.
