Bolt.Earth announced a partnership with Ather Energy to integrate its LECCS-enabled Blaze DC fast chargers with the Ather ecosystem. Following this integration, Ather users can view compatible charging points on the Ather mobile application and scooter dashboard. Charging sessions can be initiated through the Bolt.Earth EV charging application.
Availability Across Cities
The integration currently provides access to more than 195 Blaze DC fast chargers across over 100 cities. These include Bengaluru, Mysuru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Kochi, and Kozhikode. The chargers use Type 7 connectors aligned with the LECCS standard, designed for compatibility with supported electric two-wheelers.

Charging Specifications
The available Blaze DC chargers have a capacity of 3 kW. According to the companies, these chargers can provide up to 40 km of range in approximately 15 minutes, depending on vehicle and usage conditions.
Expansion Plans
Bolt.Earth stated that it plans to expand its DC charging network by introducing higher-capacity 6 kW and 12 kW chargers. These are expected to support both two-wheelers and three-wheelers compatible with the LECCS Type 7 standard.
Addressing Charging Access
The integration enables users to locate chargers in real time and check availability. The companies indicate that this feature is aimed at improving access to charging infrastructure and supporting the growing number of electric two-wheelers in India.
S. Raghav Bharadwaj, CEO & Co- Founder, Bolt.Earth, said, "Easy access to fast charging is the cornerstone of a truly scalable EV ecosystem in India. It should feel as natural as refueling: quick, simple and always within reach. Our partnership with Ather Energy is transforming that to a reality, bringing reliable fast charging to riders across 100+ cities. By integrating LECCS-enabled Blaze DC chargers nationwide, we are ensuring uncompromised convenience and speed at scale. This is about building confidence in everyday journeys and making India’s EV transition effortless for everyone."
Aravind Prasad, Head of Charging Infrastructure, Ather Energy, said, “Making charging simple and dependable is key to a good EV ownership experience. Collaborations such as this with Bolt.Earth extend that ease, over and beyond our own charging network, giving Ather riders more places to charge, whilst keeping the experience predictable and seamless. This is an important step towards making every day riding feel effortless for customers."
Elctrik Speaks
The collaboration reflects a broader trend of interoperability in EV charging networks. As more manufacturers and charging providers integrate platforms, users may gain easier access to shared infrastructure. However, the effectiveness of such integrations will depend on network reliability, charger uptime, and standardisation across vehicle segments.
