Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) data shows that Audi India has voluntarily recalled a total of 207 units. The recall includes the Audi Q8 e-tron, Q8 e-tron Sportback, and earlier versions such as the e-tron and e-tron Sportback. The recall was listed on April 23, 2026. However, the data does not specify the number of affected units for each individual model. The affected vehicles were manufactured between February 2, 2018 and June 11, 2024.
Issue Identified
The concern relates to the bolted connection of the brake servo push rod. According to the details, the connection may not meet required technical specifications and could loosen over time. If the connection loosens, the mechanical link between the brake pedal and the brake servo may not function as intended.

Safety Mechanism
In case the connection becomes fully loose, the vehicles have a controlled emergency braking function. This can be activated by pressing and holding the electromechanical parking brake button located on the centre console.

Audi dealerships will contact owners of affected vehicles. The company will inspect and replace the relevant component if required, at no cost to the customer. Owners can reach out via the customer helpline or email support provided by the company.
