Porsche has launched the Cayenne Electric in India, adding an electric powertrain option to its Cayenne SUV range. The electric SUV is available in two variants, with prices starting at Rs 1.77 crore (ex-showroom). Deliveries of the Cayenne Electric began on September 30, 2026.

The electric Cayenne will be sold alongside the petrol-powered versions of the SUV. Porsche has also confirmed that the petrol-powered Cayenne will continue to be offered in the coming years.

Porsche Cayenne Electric Detailed Pricing

The Cayenne Electric is available in two variants in India. Prices are as follows:

  • Porsche Cayenne Electric - Rs 1,77,27,000
  • Porsche Cayenne Turbo Electric - Rs 2,27,51,000

Porsche Cayenne Electric Powertrain and Range

Both variants use a 113kWh battery pack and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system. The standard Cayenne Electric produces up to 442PS with Launch Control and 835Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 4.8 seconds and has a claimed top speed of 230 kmph. Porsche claims a range of up to 642 km on a single charge.

The Cayenne Turbo Electric produces up to 1,156PS with Launch Control and 1,150Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 2.5 seconds and has a top speed of 260 kmph. The claimed range stands at up to 623 km.

The Cayenne Electric uses an 800V electrical architecture and supports DC fast charging at up to 390kW. Porsche claims that the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in less than 16 minutes. The SUV also uses regenerative braking to recover energy during deceleration.

Porsche Cayenne Electric Design

The electric Cayenne retains the overall shape of the Cayenne but gets changes to its front and rear sections. The front has a more enclosed design with aerodynamic elements and openings for airflow and cooling. Wheel options include 20-inch, 21-inch and 22-inch units.

At the rear, the SUV gets a full-width LED light bar with Porsche lettering. The Turbo Electric gets additional exterior elements to distinguish it from the standard Cayenne Electric.

Porsche Cayenne Electric Interior and Features

The cabin gets a digital dashboard layout with Porsche's Flow Display and a digital instrument cluster for the driver. A display for the front passenger is available as an option.

The equipment list includes an augmented-reality head-up display, AI-assisted voice control, digital key, electrically adjustable front seats, four-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, a panoramic glass roof and wireless smartphone charging. The SUV also gets Mood Modes, which can adjust functions including cabin lighting, air conditioning, seat position, sound and displays.
