The major benefit that the company highlights is the availability of charging access across India. As per HMIL, the charging facilities can be accessed within a radius of 25 km. With highways like Delhi-Gurgaon-Jaipur, Mumbai-Pune-Bengaluru, Mumbai-Ratnagiri-Goa, Chennai-Vellore-Bengaluru, and Hyderabad-Kurnool-Bengaluru included in the list.

Hyundai’s Dedicated Charging Network

Apart from the app-based network of charging stations. The automaker is setting up its own public charging infrastructure. There are 183 DC fast-charging stations in operation in 105 cities at present, with the number increasing to 600 stations by 2030. The stations are being installed in crucial cities, highways, and HMIL showrooms.

  • Current charging stations: 183.
  • Cities covered: 105.
  • Target in 2030: 600 stations.
  • Charging power: 60 kW to 240 kW.

According to the automaker, all of the company’s DC fast-charging stations are accessible for EV customers regardless of brands.

Environmental impact and scale

According to HMIL, more than 3 lakh EV drivers have benefited from the chargers provided by the company. Through the application from January 2023 to June 2026. During this period, HMIL claims that its charging stations have helped in avoiding about 3.5 million kg of CO₂ emissions. It also mentioned that the company's charging stations have supplied more than 50 lakh kWh of electricity.

Mr. Tarun Garg, MD & CEO, HMIL, said “With charging infrastructure being a key catalyst for EV adoption in India, HMIL is committed to creating an ecosystem that makes electric mobility practical, convenient and accessible to all. Through the integration of over 30,000 charging points on the myHyundai app, we are empowering EV users with one of India's largest charging networks accessible through a single platform. Importantly, the platform is open to EV owners across brands, reinforcing HMIL’s commitment to developing India's broader EV ecosystem. HMIL will more than triple its proprietary DC fast public charging network from 183 stations today to 600 stations by 2030, bringing India's charging infrastructure closer to global benchmarks.”
