Bajaj Auto has reorganised its Chetak electric scooter portfolio under a new ‘C Series’ naming system. The range will now be available as C 35, C 30, and C 25 series. The change applies across all variants in the lineup.
Navigation and Connectivity Updates
The C 35 01 variant now includes integrated navigation through Google Maps. The feature is available within the Chetak mobile application and is intended to provide route guidance directly on the scooter interface.

Increase in Top Speed Across Variants
The company has revised top speeds across models:
- C 35 01 and C 35 02: 80 km/h (earlier 73 km/h)
- C 35 03 and C 30 01: 70 km/h (earlier 63 km/h)
- C 25 01: 60 km/h (earlier 55 km/h)
Motor output for the C 35 01 has been increased from 4.5 kW to 4.8 kW.
Charging Time Improvement
Charging time for the C 30 01 has been reduced. The battery can now charge from 0 to 80 percent in 2 hours and 55 minutes, compared to the earlier duration of 3 hours and 50 minutes.
Ride Modes and Hill Hold as Standard
Ride modes (Sport and Eco) and hill hold assist are now included as standard features in the C 35 and C 30 series. These features were previously available as optional additions.
Over-the-Air (OTA) Updates
Software updates for C 35 01 and C 35 02 variants will be delivered through over-the-air updates. This allows users to receive system updates without visiting service centres.

The update focuses on feature additions and incremental performance changes across the Chetak range. The inclusion of navigation, standardisation of ride modes, and OTA updates indicate a shift toward software-enabled functionality in electric two-wheelers.
